DESCRIPTION
Day 1 (-/-/D)
Your vehicle will be waiting for you as you arrive at the Airport in Puerto
Montt .
We will set course to Puerto Varas, Frutillar and Puerto Octay, which
is situated along the Llanquihui Lake. For three nights you will be the
guest in a very special colonial (German) location dating from the last
century
Day 2 (B/-/D)
Today we will spend all day the area surrounding the Osorno volcano and
the Petrohue falls both situated in the "Vicente Perez Rosales"
National park.
Day 3 (B/-/D)
This day can be used to enjoy various optional activities such as horse
riding, nature walks, do some fishing or simply "relax and enjoy"
the beauty of the country side. Or if you are interested we can organize
a day touring along the Pacific ocean with Gloria and Peter.
Day 4 (B/-/D)
After a hearty breakfast we will follow in the steps of the German Colonists
towards Valdivia, stopping shortly for a coffee break at the Witches cafe
(Cafe Hexe) along the way.
Then on to Valdivia and its local fish market with the
almost certain possibility of spotting seals playing around in the Calle-Calle
river. In the afternoon you will continue to Los Lagos, where, for three
nights you will the guest at Fundo Chacaipulli.
Day 5 (B/L/D)
Fundo Chacaipulli is a working Chilean family farm where Ian and Maggy
pride themselves on providing simple luxury for their guests.
No set activities are planned allowing you to join in with the life on
the farm, ride their horses, play with the animals, take walks in the
surrounding woods and the meadows or stroll down to the San Pedro river
as well as getting to know the Chileans and a bit of the local farm life.
Day 6 (B/L/D)
We suggest you spend this day to visit the Andean mountain ranges and
the Pacific coast, fishing expeditions in the San Pedro and the Quinchilca
rivers can also be organized.
Day 7 (B/-/-)
After breakfast you will continue to Villarrica and Pucon and visit take
a close up view of Osorno volcano, Chile's most active. Then it's on to
Temuco Airport in time for your flight back to Santiago.
